MET Choral Arts Music Performers (C.A.M.P.) MET Summer C.A.M.P. is an opportunity to let children and youth explore their singing potential with highly skilled music instructors in a classical training atmosphere. Hours fly by each day as your child acquires skills in reading music, performance decorum, vocal development and choral ensemble. In addition they will meet daily guest artists, work with special guest choral directors, and then share their amazing progress with you! MET C.A.M.P. is a summer choral training program that serves as intense choral training for children who participate in the MET Singers Honor Choir year round and as an introductory camp for children who enter the program for the first time. MET CAMP is also open to youth who are looking for additional and extended choral training to challenge their skills in a new environment or strengthen their choral acumen. First held for one week in 2001, for the past nine years, MET C.A.M.P. has progressively reached more youth year after year. Singers who participate, further their choral training and development, receive additional instruction and guidance from guest artists, conductors and volunteers. Choral Arts Link is working year round to offer formalized choral training and performance opportunities to children. As a result of teachers MET C.A.M.P. provides high-quality training to youth who are hungry for choral instruction.
